April Goudeau is the visionary CEO and Founder of Avenue Contract Solutions (ACS), a leading operations management firm committed to delivering innovative operational solutions that empower federal agencies.
With a wealth of experience in corporate accounting, internal audit, and project management, April leads ACS in delivering exceptional services in administrative support, business and financial management, project and program management, and special event and program support.
April’s professional journey is anchored by her deep expertise in compliance, financial governance, and operations management. She has held pivotal roles at Fortune 500 companies, including Chevron and USAA, where she successfully managed internal control frameworks, conducted audits, and developed centralized SOX testing processes to enhance efficiency and minimize risks. April also received Oracle EPM and ERP training through an Oracle veteran’s and active-duty military spouse program, gaining valuable technical expertise in enterprise performance management and enterprise resource planning solutions. At Oracle she honed her ability to bridge technology and business needs, positioning her as a leader in innovative operational solutions.
As an active-duty military spouse, April understands the unique challenges of balancing professional and personal commitments. This perspective informs ACS’s commitment to reliability, adaptability, and excellence, values that resonate with the diverse clientele served by the firm.
Under April’s leadership, ACS has successfully managed contracts for the U.S. military and government agencies, including logistics for National Guard retreats, Yellow Ribbon programs, and international seminars. With a proven track record of delivering seamless logistical support, meticulous budget oversight, and compliance with program objectives, ACS has earned a reputation for exceeding client expectations.
April holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida A&M University. She is also pursuing her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, reflecting her commitment to continuous growth and excellence.
Paul Serotkin, Strategic Advisor
Founder of Serotkin Group (www.serotkingroup.com), Paul has operated in the public sector industry for over 35 years, covering operation and management of closely held government contractors, transacting mergers and acquisitions, and pursuing strategic development.
Through this consultancy and as a mentor for the SBA SCORE program, Paul partners with government contracting CEOs on aligning operations with strategy.
He has served as executive, investor, consultant, board advisor, and board member for companies in the public sector. He also served as a director of organizations that support the government contracting industry and the technologies and services they develop and offer. Most recently he was chapter president of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
Previously, he served as Principal for two boutique investment banks in the federal sector, providing buy and sell side services. Paul has also been Director/VP, Corporate Development for public and private federal contractors, last with a subsidiary of Titan Corporation (NYSE). He began his career with the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE), where he helped to pass the landmark Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Act in 1982.
Paul earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively, from Northeastern University and Boston University.
